These works are an attractive proposition for collectors who are looking to expand their collections to works of genuine quality from the current generation of artists or for those who wish to start a collection with works from promising artists of the current generation.

Yulia Krivich often uses her work by raising her status of a female immigrant from Ukraine living in Poland and setting it into question. Alongside the political aspects of her work, which place her among the actively engaged artists on the Polish scene, Krivich’s work also holds a solid position in the scope of capturing the imagery of youth, which can often be associated with the aesthetics of lifestyle photography. This style characterises the photographs in her fashion series for the Polish brand Dramat Europe, as well as the photographs she took of her own mother in the summer of 2017 at the Sea of Azov in her home country of Ukraine. These images reflect a lightly nostalgic view of ‘endless summers’ that is disconnected from all the constraints of sociological contexts.
